14 · Swarm-Lite: Fault-Tolerant Agent Coordination

A coordination kernel for bounded agent populations, borrowed mechanism by mechanism from the honeybee colony: admission control, provenance, drift eviction, threat containment and agreement under partial corruption. Each behaviour is stated formally and bounded mathematically, with a dependency-free reference implementation.

Verify before you alert

No claim passes through unweighed. Six independent signals score it first, and anything the system can’t corroborate is flagged as exactly that. An alert you can’t trust is worse than no alert at all.

We build from Accra for the whole continent. That is an engineering requirement, not a sentiment: 41 languages, low-bandwidth realities, and events that break first in tongues most systems never read.

Boldstep Hiven is an applied AI lab based in Accra, Ghana. We build software that puts AI to practical use — risk intelligence, media tools, and the platforms that hold them together.

AI, to us, cuts both ways: artificial intelligence, built as African intelligence — made in Accra, for the conditions we actually know.

We run lean by design — one lab building alongside AI — which is how a small team ships this many real systems. We would rather keep this page short and true than long and impressive.
